Your business
Northside Civil is a Brisbane civil contractor doing earthworks, drainage and road works for councils, developers and builders across South East Queensland.
Start with your website
Tell Slingshot your website and it reads it: what you do, who it’s for and how you talk, written up as a short brief in your own terms. Every pill is yours to edit, and the emails are written from this brief, not a template. Then you choose your industries, and areas from any town you name.
- Type a place you know and it’s placed on the map, fenced to its own viewport.
- Choose how far to look: only your areas, those and nearby, your whole state, or the whole country.
- Slingshot keeps searching your areas for your industries, on its own.
- Nothing is emailed from this page. Finding comes first.

Every business, its decision maker, and where it’s up to
A business moves Found → Checked → Ready → In sequence → Replied. For each one that fits, Slingshot finds the decision maker — the owner, director or general manager — and verifies their address before anyone is emailed.
- Open a row to see that person’s sequence: which emails have gone, which is due, and when.
- No verified address means held, not guessed; the wrong industry is excluded, with the reason shown.
- Everything here is yours to export, any time.

Your own sending identity
A sending domain alongside your real one, so your main domain’s reputation is never on the line. Your mailboxes are connected with one press; Slingshot does the technical setup behind it.
- Two weeks of warm-up before the first real send.
- The warm-up panel shows how much is landing in the inbox, and the day you’ll be ready to send.
- Add a second mailbox when you want more volume.

If there’s a job coming up where a reliable civil crew would help, worth a quick chat?

Following up in case this got buried. Happy to send a couple of recent jobs we’ve done for industry around area — two minutes to read, no pitch.

Last one from me. If the timing’s wrong, no worries at all — reply “later” and I’ll check back in a few months.

Up to three emails per person
Each day, Slingshot sends up to the number of emails a day you set — first emails to new people, and follow-ups to people it wrote to earlier. Each person gets no more than three short emails, a few days apart, and the follow-ups arrive as replies in the same thread, so it reads as one conversation.
- Each email is filled in for the person it’s going to: their name, their business and their industry, with the hook written for that industry.
- When someone replies, their emails stop and the conversation is yours.
- Sending starts once warm-up is done, gently at first, and builds up to your daily number.
- Edit any email any time; it’s checked before it goes live, and every version is kept.
Dashboard
In flight, at a steady pace
Sending runs inside the sending window you set, in your time zone, at a daily cap you set. The do-not-contact list is the authority: anyone on it is never emailed, full stop.
- A reply stops that person’s sequence on the spot.
- Unsubscribes and hard bounces go on the list automatically.
- The pause switch stops sending and finding together.

Numbers you can read
The same charts the dashboard draws: who you reached, who opened, who clicked and who wrote back — as a funnel, day by day, by industry, by week and by email in the sequence. Each person counts once at each stage, however many emails they received.
- The industry rows show the hook that’s working and the one that isn’t, so the copy studio knows what to change.
- By-email shows whether the first email or the follow-ups earn the replies.
- Every Monday, a note in plain English says what happened and what’s next. Replied is the last stage: the conversation is yours from there.
